Spring 2025 PRICE Reading Group

Graduate students, faculty members, and postdocs are invited to attend our second reading group meeting, which will take place on Friday, March 14th from 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM in MVR 1102.

For this meeting, our graduate students have proposed focusing on the following works:

  • Saidiya Hartman, "Crow Jane Makes a Modest Proposal: A solution to the problem of race relations."

  • Thelen, K., & Wiedemann, A. (2021). The Anxiety of Precarity. Who Gets What?: The New Politics of Insecurity, 281.

  • Han, H., Campbell, A. L., & McKenna, E. (2023). Civic feedbacks: Linking collective action, organizational strategy, and influence over public policy. Perspectives on Politics21(4), 1432-1446

Please RSVP here so we can get a rough headcount as to how many people will be attending. As a reminder, the expectation will be to have read the readings beforehand.
